I Love Sn@p!

    Over at the Simple Stories blog this week they are featuring what many of the design team members did with their Sn@p albums.  For my album I decided to do one featuring my son and his elementary school years.  I was surprised how easy it came together, the Sn@p products really make it easy. 

I wanted my cover so I could slide it off in case I changed my mind down the road.  So I took the cardboard sleeve that comes on the album and attached my paper to it, folding it around the edge and attaching it on the other side.

I have so many of the large 8 x 10 school photos, these cut down really nicely to fit into the 6 x 8 Sn@p page protectors.  And the Sn@p label stickers work great added to the large photos, I also used the Sn@p letter stickers too.

 

 

 

 

 

I also took a piece of art from each year and cut it down to fit in the 6 x 8 page protectors:

 

 

The possibilities with these albums are endless.  I took the 4 x 6 Sn@p cards and made a pocket to hold journal strips:

One of my favorite pages in the Sn@p collection are the ones that feature the little Polaroids, I love these because my punches are the perfect size to cut the photos to fit in the squares.  The punch I used for this page is a 1 3/4 x 1 3/4.

Playing with Sn@p

I am having fun today playing with Snap, the new product line from Simple Stories!

Hello!

Happy Wednesday friends!  Today's project is a Maya Road chipboard tin that I altered into a phone. 

I used Jillibean paper, to cover the phone. 

 

 

I took the handle off the top of the Maya road tin and flipped it upside down inside the tin.  This is what holds the little phone book pages.

Simple Stories goodness!

Hi all,

Check out what I received in the mail Friday...

The new Simple Stories product Snap.  This is a pretty Awesome collection!  I love the bright fun colors and designs.  This is a must to check out at your local scrapbook store, I think they are going to be shipped to stores around October 15.  We will be doing a lot of fun things on the Simple Stories blog over the next couple months with Snap. 

A lot of people have been doing project life. Were you basically record daily life and scrapbook it, I have never been inspired enough by a product to want to attempt this.  Well after seeing Snap, I am thinking this is something I would like to try.  But I am going to do mine monthly, I think this would be easier for me to manage.  So keep a look out for this new project to begin!  Have a great Monday!
